As a postscript to my earlier report, I can add that police say that they executed a warrant (date not given) on a local convenience store in the centre of Herne Hill  –  one which many had suspected of being a place where stolen and shoplifted goods were offloaded.

“Another warrant has been executed by your local Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) officers at IAA Supermarket. Officers received multiple intelligence reports regarding the handling of stolen goods. As a result of the warrant, one person was arrested, and items including alcohol, household goods, and cash were seized.”
